59G-4.002

Provider Reimbursement Schedules and Billing Codes

PURPOSE:

Rule 59G-4.002, F.A.C., incorporates by reference the Florida Medicaid Provider Reimbursement Schedule, July 2008. The reimbursement schedule contains the procedure codes and maximum fees that are effective July 2008 for the following provider types whose fees are based on a resource-based relative value scale: advanced registered nurse practitioner, birth center, chiropractic, dental, hearing, independent laboratory, licensed midwife, optometric, outpatient hospital laboratory, physician, physician assistant, podiatry, portable x-ray, registered nurse first assistant, and visual. The effect will be to incorporate by reference in rule the Florida Medicaid Provider Reimbursement Schedule, July 2008.

SUMMARY:

The amendment to Rule 59G-4.002, F.A.C., will incorporate by reference the Florida Medicaid Provider Reimbursement Schedule, July 2008. The effect will be to incorporate the Florida Medicaid Provider Reimbursement Schedule, July 2008, in rule.
