69B-228.180	Forms and Submission of Forms through the Education Database

PURPOSE:

This rulemaking amends the required number of hours necessary for approved education courses taught to insurance agent licensee applicants.

SUBJECT:

The proposed rulemaking will amend Rules 69B-228.080 & .180, and forms DFS-H2-2081 and DFS-H2-2111, to update references from 5 hours of course work to 4 hours of course work as required by recent statutory changes. This rulemaking will also delete unnecessary language regarding virtual classroom work and webinars.
