PURPOSE:

To implement portions of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) amendment to the Rehabilitation Act, streamline internal Division of Vocation Rehabilitation processes, and ensure that the appropriate regulations are incorporated into the rules.

SUBJECT:

The Federal Regulations governing the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation’s (Division) programs; the timeframe for the development of individualized plans for employment; the timeframe for the appeal of Division determinations; and the oversight of the Division’s Direct-Support Organization.
