Course Requirements - Grades PK-12 Exceptional Student Education

PURPOSE:

In March 2023, additional student performance standards for Mathematics Access Points-Alternate Academic Achievement Standards (AP-AAAS) Grades K-12 were adopted. In this course rule, these additional student performance standards will be added to the Access Mathematics for Data and Financial Literacy and Access Mathematics for Liberal Arts course descriptions. Course descriptions for other courses are revised. All Language Arts Florida Standards (LAFS) and Mathematics Florida Standards (MAFS) are replaced with Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking (B.E.S.T.) English Language Arts Expectations (EE) and B.E.S.T. Mathematical Thinking and Reasoning Standards (MTR).

SUMMARY:

Public school course descriptions for exceptional student education in grades PK-12.
