33-208.002

Rules of Conduct

PURPOSE:

The proposed rule is intended to increase the safety, security, and good order of state correctional institutions and facilities by regulating the introduction of contraband by staff.

SUMMARY:

Rulemaking is necessary to clarify and reorganize the rule, to make the rule gender neutral, and to establish criteria that will precipitate an intensive search of Department employees, employee property, and employee vehicles when entering, departing, or otherwise being on the premises of a Department institution or facility.
