RULE:

1S-2.040

Statewide Uniform Voter Registration Application

PURPOSE:

These amendments are necessary to reflect amendments made by the legislature to section 97.0535(3), Florida Statutes, which now allows for additional forms of identification when registering to vote for the first time or voting for the first time.  Additionally, the amendments revise portions of the voter registration form in order to more closely resemble statutory language.

SUMMARY:

Amendments reflect amendments made to section 97.0535(3), Florida Statutes, and revise portions of the voter registration form in order to more closely resemble statutory language.
