Licensure Requirements for Dental Hygiene Applicants from Unaccredited Dental Schools or Colleges

PURPOSE:

The Board proposes the rule amendment to clarify language concerning licensure for dental hygienists who are graduates of an unaccredited dental school or college and to eliminate additional education requirements for those applicants who fail the exam on the initial exam attempt.

SUMMARY:

Language concerning licensure for dental hygienists who are graduates of an unaccredited dental school or college will be clarified.
