PURPOSE:

The purpose and effect of the proposed rules is to add species to, reclassify species, and/or remove species from the Candidate Species, Endangered Species, Threatened Species and Species of Special Concern lists during calendar year 2008.

SUBJECT:

Subject areas covered in the proposed rules include listing, delisting, and reclassifying species to the Candidate Species, Endangered Species, Threatened Species and Species of Special Concern lists.
