PURPOSE:

The purpose of the proposed rule is to define what constitutes a service animal, to explain the check in procedures involved with the a service animal, to explain what types of searches can be conducted on a service animal, to explain what conduct is expected of a service animal and to explain what conduct of a service animal can lead to the termination of a visit.
