PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The rule establishes uniform procedures for conducting and documenting detention screening, intake, risk and needs assessment, comprehensive assessment and comprehensive evaluation of youth to allow the department to provide the most appropriate services in the least instrusive manner.
SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: The rule addresses the provision of detention screening, intake, risk and needs assessment and comprehensive evaluation and assessment of juveniles.
