64I-6.002: Program Components
PURPOSE AND EFFECT: Chapter 64I-6, entitled, Comprehensive Statewide Tobacco Education and Use Prevention Program, has been created to implement Section 27, Article X of the State Constitution and Section 381.84, F.S., requiring funding and implementation of a comprehensive statewide tobacco education and use prevention program.
SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: The proposed rules provide for specific program components to be implemented in accordance with the Federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Best Practices for Comprehensive Tobacco Control Programs, October 2007.

(1) The statewide tobacco education and use prevention program shall be implemented in accordance with the United States Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Best Practices for Comprehensive Tobacco Control Programs-2007, as amended.
(2) The CDC Best Practices for Comprehensive Tobacco Control Programs-2007, as amended, is incorporated herein by reference.
