ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

The School Board of Pinellas County, Florida will receive sealed bids in the Purchasing Department of the School Board of Pinellas County, Florida, 301 – Fourth Street S.W., Largo, Florida 33770-3536 until 4:00 p.m. local time, on March 9, 2011 for the purpose of selecting a Contractor for supplying all labor, material, and ancillary services required for the scope listed below.

BID TITLE: Auditorium Theatrical Lighting & Dimming

System Upgrade

DUE DATE/TIME: March 9, 2011 @ 4:00 p.m. E.T.

SCOPE OF PROJECT: This bid will select an “Electrical Contractor”. The work shall consist of furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment and supervision required to provide and install new theatrical lighting fixtures, dimming racks, lighting console, new house lighting fixtures and all associated electrical work. The awarded electrical contractor shall hire a Theatrical Integrator to provide all theatrical components and interfaces (i.e., software and hardware) to meet the interactive requirements of contract documents. The Theatrical Integrator shall be responsible for the installation of all theatrical fixtures, low voltage communications cabling and devices, and final focusing/aiming of the fixtures. Specifications are “free of charge” see information in these bid documents.

PRE-BID CONFERENCE: A pre-bid conference will be held at the Main Office of St. Petersburg High School located at 2501 – 5th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL 33713 on February 22, 2011 at 8:30 a.m. (Sign-in at the front desk, and you will escorted to the pre-bid room for the “official” sign-in). Attendance at this pre-bid conference is MANDATORY in order for all potential bidders to receive the benefit of answers to theirs and other’s technical questions first hand:
