GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: This is a meeting of the Marine Numeric Nutrient Criteria Technical Advisory Committee (MTAC). This is a follow up to meetings held on September 29, 2010 (Tallahassee) and November 17, 2010 (Ft. Pierce). The meeting will focus on discussion of draft recommendations and comments from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Science Advisory Board’s expert panel on the development of numeric nutrient criteria for Florida’s estuarine and coastal waters. Note that the MTAC is separate from a previous TAC established for nutrient criteria development for freshwater systems (lakes, streams, and canals).
