Notice of Request for Proposals (RFP) for Collection Services

The FWCJUA, a single-line insurer underwriting workers compensation and employers liability coverage in Florida, will issue an RFP for Collection Services on December 3, 2010. The collection services provider engaged shall handle, for collection purposes, the delinquent accounts referred by the FWCJUA servicing carrier(s). Upon receipt of such an account, the collection services provider shall promptly proceed with efforts to collect all unpaid premiums by demand, and other legitimate and ethical means, subject to any agreed to limitations. The entity shall at all times comply with existing local, state and federal laws and regulations. The FWCJUA is not a state agency; and thus, the RFP process is not governed by the contracting procedures applicable to state agencies set forth by Florida law. Interested parties may obtain a copy of the FWCJUA’s RFP for Collection Services on or after December 3, 2010, from the FWCJUA’s website: http://www.fwcjua.com. Responses to the RFP will be due no later than 4:00 p.m. (Eastern Time), January 7, 2011.
