NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Department of Education has issued an order disposing of the petition for declaratory statement filed by Imagine Schools Non-Profit, Inc. on January 04, 2010. The following is a summary of the agency's disposition of the petition:
The Department has determined that the proper mechanism to make a statement of general eligiblity relating to nonprofit organization is through rulemaking, therefore, the Department will initiate rulemaking to define “nonprofit organization” for puposes of Section 1002.33, Florida Statutes.
