68A-9.007: Special-use Permits; Short-term Use Permits; Fees; Special-Opportunity Hunting and Fishing
PURPOSE AND EFFECT: The purpose of the proposed rule change is to remove established permit fees for special-opportunity hog hunts, which have been or will be converted to no-cost wild hog quota hunts. The effect of the proposed rule change will remove unnecessary references to permits fees for special-opportunity hog hunts.
SUMMARY: The proposed rule change would remove the area specific references to special-opportunity hog hunt fees for Fort Drum WMA, Green Swamp WMA - West Unit and Lake Panasoffkee WMA because these hunts have been or will be converted to no-cost wild hog quota hunts.
SUMMARY OF STATEMENT OF ESTIMATED REGULATORY COSTS: The agency has determined that this rule will ____or will not __X__have an impact on small business. A SERC has ____ or has not _X_ been prepared by the agency.

THE FULL TEXT OF THE PROPOSED RULE IS:

68A-9.007 Special-use Permits; Short-term Use Permits; Fees; Special-Opportunity Hunting and Fishing.

Special-use permits, short-term use permits, and fees for such permits are hereby established as follows:

(1) No change.

(2) The Commission establishes fees for special-use permits and non-refundable application fees as follows:

(a) through (e) No change.

(f) Except as otherwise provided in this paragraph, the fee for a special-opportunity hog hunt permit is $50 per day and the application fee is $5.

1. The fee for the special-opportunity hog hunt permit on the Ft. Drum WMA is $50 per hunt.

2. The fee for a special-opportunity hog hunt permit on Green Swamp WMA (West Unit) and Lake Panasoffkee WMA is $75 each.

(g) through (i) No change.

(3) through (4) No change.

PROPOSED EFFECTIVE DATE: July 1, 2010.
