61C-5.001: Standards Adopted; Exclusions; and Conflicts

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on July 21, 2009, the Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for an emergency permanent variance from Rules 2.7.4.1, ASME A17.1, 2005 as adopted by Chapter 3001.2 as adopted by paragraph 61C-5.001(1)(a), F.A.C., which requires machinerooms have 7'0" clearance. The request was submitted by Lee Rigby on behalf of Freedom Pointe Brookdale Senior Living in Lady Lake, FL. License Number 96331 and 96332 (VW 2009-185).
