The Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), Boating and Waterways Section and Office of Recreation Services announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.
DATE AND TIME: July 27, 2009, 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
PLACE: Charlotte Harbor Event and Conference Center, 75 Taylor Street, Punta Gorda, FL 33950
GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The listening session is designed to learn as much as possible about the issues of concern to paddlers and others who use small non-motorized watercraft. Some of the issues FWC staff hopes to learn more about include users’ perspectives on access, navigation, shared use of waterways and safety.
