69O-142.015: Standardized Requirements Applicable to Insurers After Hurricanes or Natural Disasters
PURPOSE AND EFFECT: Section 627.7019, F.S., requires the Financial Services Commission to adopt by rule standardized requirements that may be applied to insurers as a consequence of a hurricane or other natural disaster. The purpose of the rule development workshop is to develop rule revisions to incorporate updated information with respect to claims reporting requirements, and to clarify the format of the information required to be filed.
SUBJECT AREA TO BE ADDRESSED: Standardized claims reporting requirements applicable to insurers after hurricanes or other natural disasters.
