FLORIDA FINDING OF NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACT

ALACHUA, FLORIDA

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection has determined that the proposed Alachua wastewater facilities will not have a significant adverse affect on the environment.  The project proposes construction of a new advanced wastewater treatment plant and supplement disposal system with rapid infiltration basins.  The proposed project cost is estimated at $12,200,000.  The project is expected to qualify for a State Revolving Fund loan composed of federal and state matching funds.  A full copy of the Florida Finding of No Significant Impact can be obtained by writing to: Bhupendra Vora, Bureau of Water Facilities Funding, Department of Environmental Protection, 2600 Blair Stone Road, MS #3505, Tallahassee, Florida 32399‑2400.
