The Suwannee River Water Management District (District) is requesting bids to construct a Visitor Center. The center will contain approximately 3,300 square feet of air-conditioned space and 2,700 square feet of wrap-around covered porch. The center will be constructed on the District’s R.O. Ranch property in Cooks Hammock, Florida (Lafayette County) approximately 12 miles south of Mayo, Florida on Highway 51. District will evaluate all submittals on the basis of quoted price, compliance with specifications, and quality of references. Bids are due by 4:00 p.m., November 14, 2008. The results will be forwarded to the Governing Board at the December 9, 2008, meeting for their consideration.
