NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on October 10, 2006, the South Florida Water Management District (District), received a petition for waiver from the Florida Department of Transportation, Application No. 06-1010-1M for utilization of Works or Lands of the District known as the C-111 Canal, Miami-Dade County for installation of center bent pilings associated with the temporary repair of the SR 5/US-1 bascule bridge within the C-111 right of way, Miami-Dade County, Section 16 and 17, Township 59 South, Range 39 East. The petition seeks relief from paragraph 40E-6.221(2)(j), Fla. Admin. Code, which governs horizontal clearance requirements for bridge center span within Works or Lands of the District.
