Notice of Meeting/Workshop Hearing

DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
The Department of Environmental Protection announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.
DATE AND TIME: November 13, 2012, 9:00 a.m.
PLACE: 3900 Commonwealth Blvd, Douglas Building, Conference Room A, Tallahassee, FL
GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: “The Department will request approval for adoption on its proposed revisions to Chapter 62-302 (Surface Water Quality Standards), which establish numeric nutrient criteria for total nitrogen, total phosphorus, and chlorophyll a for the following Panhandle estuaries: Perdido Bay, Pensacola Bay (including Escambia Bay), Choctawhatchee Bay, St. Andrew Bay, St. Joseph Bay, and Apalachicola Bay. The Division of Environmental Assessment and Restoration will also provide a briefing on the Triennial Review of Florida’s water quality standards, which includes revisions to the human health-based water quality criteria and the Dissolved Oxygen criteria.”
