NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on October 15, 2012, the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Division of Hotels and Restaurants, Bureau of Elevator Safety, received a petition for Riverwalk Condominium. Petitioner seeks an emergency variance of the requirements of ASME A17.3, Section 3.10.4(q), as adopted by 61C-5.001(1), Florida Administrative Code that requires upgrading the elevators normal terminal stopping devices which poses a significant economic/financial hardship. Any interested person may file comments within 5 days of the publication of this notice with Mark Boutin, Bureau of Elevator Safety, 1940 North Monroe Street, Tallahassee, Florida 32399-1013 (VW2012-336).
