61G15-20.007: Educational Requirements for Applicants Without EAC/ABET Accredited Engineering Degrees

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on December 21, 2011, the Board of Professional Engineers, received a petition for Variance or Waiver, filed on December 21, 2011, by Mukesh Joshi, P.E. The Petitioner seeks the Variance or Waiver from paragraph 61G15-20.007(1)(b), F.A.C., with respect to the requirement that each applicant for a Florida engineers license must demonstrate the completion of a substantial equivalency for the general education course requirements.
The Board will address this Petition at its next meeting.
