  The Florida Metropolitan Planning Organization Advisory Council announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

Pursuant to the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act, any person requiring special accommodations to participate in this workshop/meeting is asked to advise the agency at least 2 days before the workshop/meeting by contacting: The MPOAC Executive Director provides legislative and lobbying services for the MPOAC members paid for from the contribution of non-federal local funds provided to the MPOAC from the individual MPOs. Lobbying Tools will provide the MPOAC a vital tool that will enable the MPOAC to perform its legislative and lobbying functions in a cost-effective and efficient manner. The service will provide on-going tracking of individual bills; access to the latest information including bill summaries, sponsors, updated bill text, amendments, staff analysis and statute citations; and create custom reporting formats that will assist the MPOAC and the individual MPOs to provide our members and the general public with timely and up-to-date information on the latest activities of the Florida Legislature. With the ever expanding role of MPOs in the fields of transportation, growth management, highway safety and security, environmental protection, and community affairs it has become essential for the MPOAC to secure and use the most cost-effective and efficient legislative reporting tools that are available.
