Community Release Programs

PURPOSE:

The purpose and effect of the proposed rule is to amend Form DC6-127, Checklist for Transfers to Work Release Centers, for clarity.

SUMMARY:

Form DC6-127, Checklist for Transfers to Work Release Centers is amended to include: a more detailed checklist of eligibility and ineligibility criteria; the timeframe for inmates to be disciplinary report free in order to participate in work release was changed from 90 days to 60 days; additional signature lines were added for recommendations from the inmate’s classification officer, institutional classification team members and the state classification officer; and reformatted as a whole for clarity.
