PURPOSE:

The purpose and effect of this rule is to implement Section 570.957, Florida Statutes, and provide grants for bioenergy projects.

SUBJECT:

Chapter 570.957, Florida Statutes. The Farm-to-Fuel Grants Program is established within the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services in order to provide matching grants for bioenergy projects. Such grants may be made for research, demonstration, or commercialization projects relating to the production of bioenergy or feedstocks used in bioenergy production.
