Overview



	The State of Florida, Department of Education, Education Practices Commission announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	April 20, 2007, 8:30 a.m. immediately followed by a Teacher Hearing Panel

PLACE:	Embassy Suites Tampa Airport/Westshore, 555 North Westshore Boulevard, Tampa, Florida 33609, (813)875-1555

Subject:	The Hearing Panels of the Education Practices Commission will consider final agency action in matters dealing with the disciplining of certified educators. If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Commission with respect to any matter considered at the hearings, he or she will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made. The record will include the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. SPECIAL ACCOMMODATION: Any person requiring a special impairment accommodation should contact Kathleen M. Richards, (850)245-0455, at least five (5) calendar days prior to the hearing. Persons who are hearing or speech impaired can contact the Commission using the Florida Dual Party Relay System at 711.
