Overview



	The South Florida Water Management District announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Preapplication Conference for the C-43 Basin Storage Reservoir Project March 6, 2007 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

PLACE:	City of LaBelle Civic Center 481 West Hickpochee Avenue (State Road 80) LaBelle, Florida

Subject:	The purpose of the preapplication conference is for SFWMD to request information from all federal and state agencies with applicable regulatory jurisdiction to assist SFWMD in determining with reasonable certainty that the C-43 Basin Storage Reservoir Project is consistent with applicable law and regulations, and can be permitted and operated as proposed. The SFWMD is required by Chapter 373.1501, Florida Statutes, to convene a preapplication conference as part of its role as the local sponsor.
