RULE:

68D-15.005

Local Ordinance Review and Code Enforcement of At-Risk and Long-term Anchoring

PURPOSE:

The proposed rule implements sections 327.4111(5), F.S., which requires local ordinances adopted by counties and municipalities that authorize code enforcement officers to enforce long-term anchoring permit(s) be submitted to the Commission for approval. The rule explains the submission and review criteria and timeline.

SUMMARY:

The rule implements recent statutory changes within sections 327.4107 and 327.4111, F.S., which requires the Commission to approve or deny local government ordinances authorizing code enforcement officers to enforce permit requirements for at-risk vessels and long-term anchoring.
