Private School Scholarship Compliance

PURPOSE:

This rule establishes requirements for private schools to participate in the Family Empowerment Scholarship and the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship.

SUMMARY:

This amendment will align with changes made in House Bill 1471 (2026). Specifically, this bill amended section 1002.421(1)(t), F.S., and prohibits scholarship-participating private schools from affiliating with or receiving support from domestic or foreign terrorist organizations, or other criminal organizations.
