PURPOSE:

The purpose of the proposed rule is to repeal the Myakka Ranch Community Development District (CDD) pursuant to the FloridaCommerce Declaration of Inactive Status of the CDD received on May 12, 2026.

SUMMARY:

FloridaCommerce notified the Commission that the CDD has been declared inactive and should be repealed.  The CDD has been inactive for two or more years.  Section 186.062(4), FS, requires repeal of the CDD as a result of the Declaration.
