PURPOSE:

The purpose and effect of these rules is to implement section 445.003(7), Florida Statutes (F.S.), which requires the Department to adopt rules for initial and subsequent eligibility criteria for the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act eligible training providers.

SUMMARY:

These rules will provide local workforce development boards and training providers with the criteria for training providers to be approved for inclusion on the state’s Eligible Training Provider List for the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act program, as required by 445.003(7), F.S.
