68B-7.008

Spatial Gear and Harvest Limitations

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this rule development notice is to address possible changes to spatial gear regulations for the purpose of protecting sensitive, submerged cultural resources.  The effect of the rule amendment would be to provide additional protections for vulnerable archeological resources located within Biscayne National Park.

SUBJECT:

Subject areas addressed in the rule development notice include area-specific gear restrictions and prohibitions.
