Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at 5:30 p.m.

PLACE:	Virtually on GoTo Webinar; By phone at 1-877-309-2074 with passcode 527-361-059 In-Person at the Sanborn Activity Center

Subject:	A public meeting will be held regarding project plans on State Road (S.R.) 472 from west of Minnesota Avenue to east of Minnesota Avenue. (FPID no. 446558-1) The purpose of this project is to construct a new directional median at the intersection of S.R. 472 and Minnesota Avenue to improve safety. The project will also construct a new U-turn that can accommodate large trucks west of the intersection. The public meeting is being held to present information and receive community feedback. The Department is offering multiple ways for the community to participate in the meeting. All participants, regardless of platform they choose, will participate in the same live meeting. Virtual Option: Interested persons may join the Virtual Public Meeting (VPM) from a computer, tablet, or mobile device. A VPM is a free live presentation or webinar over the internet. For this option, advance registration is required by visiting https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/5398750943088557837. Once registered, participants will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting online. Please note, Internet Explorer cannot be used to register or attend this webinar. If joining online, please provide adequate log-in time to view the presentation in its entirety. Phone Option (Listen Only): Participants may join the meeting in listen-only mode by dialing 1-877-309-2074 and entering the passcode 527-361-059 when prompted. In-Person Option: Participants may attend in person by going to the Sanborn Activity Center, 815 S. Alabama Ave., DeLand, FL 32724. The in-person meeting will be an open house where participants can stop by anytime between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. to view a looping presentation and project displays, speak with project team members, and submit comments or questions. If attending in person, please remember to follow all safety and sanitation guidelines as well as adhere to any local ordinances.
