Overview



	The Office of Insurance Regulation announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	October 13, 2020, 1:00 p.m.

Subject:	The National Council on Compensation Insurance, Inc., has made a rate filing under the provisions of Section 627.091, Florida Statutes, and subject to Sections 627.101 and 627.111, Florida Statutes. In this filing, the NCCI requests an overall average decrease in rate levels of 5.7 percent for the voluntary market for all new and renewal workers’ compensation insurance policies written in Florida, effective January 1, 2021. An agenda will be posted on the Office’s website, at the webinar address listed above. Participants who wish to speak at the hearing must register in advance. Interested persons may also forward testimony to the Office at ratehearings@floir.com; the subject line of the e-mail should read “National Council on Compensation Insurance.” Anyone who wishes to present expert testimony at this hearing must prefile their testimony in writing on or before October 9, 2020, attention Anoush Brangaccio, General Counsel, Office of Insurance Regulation, 200 East Gaines Street, Tallahassee, Florida, 32399. Testimony may also be sent via email to ratehearings@floir.com; the subject line of your e-mail should read “National Council on Compensation Insurance.” Any expert witness failing to prefile testimony may be prohibited from testifying.
