Subject:	The Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is holding virtual public workshops to gather public input on a potential proposal to require bycatch reduction devices in blue crab traps. Staff will provide a brief presentation on diamondback terrapins and the interactions between these turtles and the blue crab trap fishery and gather feedback on a staff proposal for future management of the fishery. All stakeholders interested in the blue crab trap fishery and diamondback terrapins are encouraged to attend.
