	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Five announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, September 26th, 2019 from 1:30 p.m. – 3 p.m.

PLACE:	Brevard County Viera Government Center, Building C, Florida Room, 3rd Floor, 2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Melbourne, FL 32940

Subject:	Financial Management No. 433604-1 Project Description: U.S. 1 Corridor Planning Study from Pineda Causeway (State Road (S.R.) 404) to Park Avenue in Brevard County, Florida. FDOT invites all persons to a Project Visioning Team (PVT) meeting for the U.S. 1 Corridor Planning Study. The PVT is an advisory group (not an independent decision-making board) assisting the FDOT and the consultant team by providing jurisdictional, policy, technical, and administrative guidance throughout the project. The limits of the study are from Pineda Causeway (State Road (S.R.) 404) to Park Avenue, a distance of about 9 miles. The corridor planning study process is evaluating both the short- and long-term transportation needs of the U.S. 1 corridor including intersection improvements, roadway widening, safety, and the addition of bicyclist and pedestrian features. This meeting is being held to review stakeholder input received at the first project open house, the future (2045) no-build conditions analysis, and the alternatives to be developed and evaluated. Public participation is solicited without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or family status.
