Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, August 1, 2019, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. CDT. A formal presentation and public comment period will begin at 6 p.m. CDT.

PLACE:	Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, Parish Hall, 5622 Julie Drive, Panama City.

Subject:	The intent of this project is to widen U.S. 231 from four to six lanes from north of Pipeline Road to north of Penny Road, replace the Bayou George southbound bridge and widen the Bayou George northbound bridge to accommodate six lanes of traffic, and introduce grade separations/interchanges at State Road 390/County Road 2321 and at Titus Road/Star Avenue. The project is funded for right-of-way acquisition. However, construction is not funded in the current FDOT Five-Year Work Program. During the informal portion of the hearing, Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) representatives will be available to discuss the project, answer questions, and receive your comments. A court reporter will also be available to receive your comments. During the formal portion of the hearing, FDOT will make a presentation followed by public comments.
