PURPOSE:

The purpose and effect of this rule development is to establish definitions, update current versions of federal regulations, update the current permitting structure to a risk-based system, consolidate the requirements of Chapter 5K-9, F.A.C., for vended water machines into Chapter 5K-4, F.A.C., and to include guidelines for administrative penalties.

SUBJECT:

Definitions, general requirements for food establishments, special process approvals, food permits, training and certification, vended water, administrative penalties.
