RULE:

64B17-5.001

Requirements for Reactivation of an Inactive or Retired License

PURPOSE:

The updated requirement promotes public safety by ensuring that a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant sufficiently understands the physical therapy laws and rules of the state of Florida to pass the required examination.

SUBJECT:

The rule amendments clarify requirements for continuing education and passing the Florida laws and rules examination.
