RULE:

65C-9.002	Definitions
65C-9.003	Procedure for Handling Undocumented Foreign National Children Alleged to Be Abused, Neglected or Abandoned

PURPOSE:

The Department intends to amend 65C-9.002-.003, F.A.C., Alien Children, to comport with current law, practice, and procedures.  The rules were last amended in 1996.

SUMMARY:

The amendments repeal unnecessary language, update terminology, and clarify what reports may be accepted by the Florida Abuse Hotline and where to refer reports of abuse, neglect, or abandonment of foreign national children in ICE custody
