RULE:

61G20-1.001

Florida Building Code Adopted

PURPOSE:

To incorporate changes required by HB 535 and SB 1602 into the Florida Building Code.

SUMMARY:

R. 61G20-1.001, F.A.C., is the rule in which the Florida Building Code is adopted by reference. The passage of HB 535 and SB 1602 require that changes be made to the Florida Building Code pursuant to the actions of the Legislature reflected within Chs. 2016-129 and 2016-211, L.O.F. The supplement containing the amendments to the Florida Building Code is published and available for review via link on the Commission website, http://www.floridabuilding.org.
