6M-8.201

Child Enrollment Procedure for the Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) Education Program

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the proposed rule revision is to update the child application process for VPK. The rule addresses the process of child registration, eligibility determination and enrollment into a VPK class.

SUMMARY:

The rule establishes the child application and enrollment process for VPK, including acceptable documents to verify proof of residential and age eligibility. The proposed rule revisions update rule language to add clarity, consistency, and remove unnecessary or obsolete information.
