	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, May 19, 2016 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Formal Presentation at 6:30 p.m.

Subject:	Financial Management No.: 239203-7-52-01 Project Description: Design Public Hearing for East Colonial Drive (State Road (SR) 50) from East of Avalon Park Boulevard/ Pilgrim Street to East of Chuluota Road (County Road (CR) 419)/ Columbia School Road Orange County, Florida On behalf of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), the public is invited to a public hearing regarding improvements for SR 50 to provide roadway capacity to address future traffic demand, serve the community’s needs, and improve the quality of life for residents. The project will widen the roadway from a four-lane, urban other principal arterial to a six-lane urban other principal arterial and provide accommodations for both bicycles and pedestrians. The project is not currently funded for construction. The hearing will begin with an open house at 5:30 p.m. There will be a formal presentation at 6:30 p.m., after which participants may provide verbal comments to everyone present. Project staff will be available to discuss the project with attendees before and after the presentation. Participants may also provide their comments directly to a court reporter at any time during the hearing. Written comments must be postmarked no later than Monday, May 30, 2016. All comments, written and oral, will become part of the project’s public record.
