Overview



	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), District Six, announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 6:00 p.m., Formal Presentation at 6:30 p.m. followed by a public comment period.

PLACE:	Westland Gardens Park, 13501 NW 107 Avenue, Hialeah Gardens, FL 33018

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Six, will conduct a Public Hearing for the State Road (SR) 25/US 27/Okeechobee Road Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Study from State Road (SR) 997/Krome Avenue to NW 79 Avenue (Financial Management Number 423251-1-22-01; Efficient Transportation Decision Making (ETDM) Number 9891). The purpose of this project is to provide overall traffic operation and safety improvements along the Okeechobee Road corridor through the provision of intersection improvements, frontage road enhancements, roadway improvements and improvements at the bridge crossings over the Miami Canal. This public hearing is being conducted to give interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the location, conceptual design, social, economic, and environmental effects of the proposed improvements. Draft project documents and other information will be available for public review from February 25, 2016 to March 28, 2016 at the following locations: FDOT District Six, 1000 NW 111 Avenue, Room 6251, Miami, FL 33172, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Hialeah Gardens City Hall, 10001 NW 87 Avenue, Hialeah Gardens, FL 33016, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Draft documents will also be available on the project’s website, www.fdotmiamidade.com/okeechobeeroadstudy and on display at the public hearing.
