Regulated Plant Index

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this rule is to maintain a list of endangered, threatened, or commercially exploited plants.  The department’s mission is to ensure that these plants are protected and conservation of Florida’s natural areas is observed.

SUMMARY:

The Endangered Plant Advisory Council met in October 2015 and proposed edits to our plant lists.  This proposed rule will address these additions as well as a few mis-spelled species.
