PURPOSE:

The purpose and effect of the proposed rule is to update the general duties and responsibilities, procedures relating to split samples, permitted medications for horses, veterinarians, penalty guidelines for class I-V drug violations in horses, and penalty guidelines for class I-V drug violations in greyhounds for pari-mutuel activity in the state of Florida.

SUBJECT:

An update to the medication rules related to pari-mutuel activity.
