	The FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION announces a hearing to which all persons are invited.

DATE AND TIME:	August 4, 2014 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

PLACE:	Southside Baptist Church 2035 Magnolia St Sarasota, FL 34239

Subject:	The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) invites the community to a public information meeting about proposed safety improvements to the US 41 at Hansen Street intersection. The proposed improvements include: • Installing directional median opening on US 41 at Hansen Street for northbound US 41 onto Hansen Street • Extending the left turn lane on US 41 to Bay Road This meeting consists of an open house from 5 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., allowing people time to view displays, ask questions, and discuss the work one-on-one with members of the project team. There will be a brief audio-visual presentation about the project at 5:30 p.m. followed by public comment period.
